Chris Count – Demons EP [Jeton] JET071

JET071 Demons EPThe seventy first release of Jeton Records, originally based in Istanbul and with a branch in Berlin, owned and managed by Turkish Techno Player Ferhat Albayrak, welcomes once more Chris Count with Demons EP.

High supported by Mighty Carl Cox and an Intec Digital Artist Chris Countreturns to Jeton Records with a three tracker EP, harder than his usual sound.

The Name Track of the EP,  Demons is an energic, powerful and armed 4/4 proper Techno bomb. Huge kicks and very upfront drums, the hook of the track and overall traffic all designed for peak-time usage. Chris shows us his darker side of his studio.

Second Track Mr,Hood reminds the the wonderful sound of Mr. Robert Hood. Very clean kicks and basslines, accompaigned by razor sharp 909 perks, toms and highest, finalized with a basic but effective hook. Super clean but super effective.

Last track of the EP,  Caveman is a saturated piece of work. Not only the drums but kicks and synths are saturated as well. This overall tape saturation feeling of the track takes you to an other mood and makes you count the clean vibes dirty.

Chris Count – Demons EP features different taste of music for searchers of different sounds. Enjoy !

Chris Count – Street Dance EP [Jeton] JET054

jet054The Fifth Fourth release of Jeton Records, originally based in Istanbul and with a branch in Berlin, owned and managed by Turkish Techno Player Ferhat Albayrak, welcomes once more German Talent Chris Count with Street Dance EP.

After the successful debut release ‘Expander Bitch EP’ of Chris Count, we immediately signed another 3 Tracker, which is already parallel with Jeton Sound that we are bringing to you since 4 years !

The name track of the EP, Street Dance is a building-up driving Tech-Housey Track, accompanied by a perc-loop all track long, with some chords and water-melon style Fxs. Definetely a catchy one.

Second Track Ninja Tune has a bold bass-line, proper snare and hat combinations and get in to a Japanese Note in the breakdown and builds up the track on top of it afterwards.

Tooltime Pt II is the most Housey Track of the EP. 909 hats, Detroit Style Stabs, effective Vocal and nice repetitive bass-line makes the track stand-out from the crowd.

Chris CountStreet Dance EP promises different sounds for different needs, with quality and style. Enjoy !

Chris Count – Expander Bitch EP [Jeton] JET048

jet048The forty eighth release of Jeton Records, originally based in Istanbul and with a branch in Berlin, owned and managed by Turkish Techno Player Ferhat Albayrak, welcomes German Chris Count with Expander Bitch EP.

Chris Count name has to be very familiar to you if you follow Carl Cox playlists. For more than 2 years, Carl plays minimum one track of Chris in his sets. He also signed him to Intec and his “The Way To Bangkok EP” was No.2 Best Selling EP of Intec in 2012. His original, energic and nicely mixed sound is perceptible in one shot.

The name track of the EP, Expander Bitch, drives mainly acidy FX followed by nicely balanced snare/hats combo. Overall sounds are a nice combination of rich and clean percussive drums with a main FX hook.

Lovley (Tech Dub Mix) boosts a subby bass-line spiced up with real drums sounds and drives nicely all the track long. A drop and a decent build-up takes the track to layer by layer.

Spaceman features a side-chained chord, surrounds all the track long, accompanied by powerful snares and congos. Big kicks pumps the track, while background atmospheres fulfill nicely.

Chris CountExpander Bitch EP is again a nice quality production example which reflects the real Jeton sound, which you are familiar for 4 years. Enjoy !
